Indicatie
Aanvullend diervoeder voor honden met:
- Chronische enteropathie (CIE), met name food-responsive (FRE) en antibiotic-responsive (ARE)
- Acute diarree na antibiotica, stress, transport of voederwissel
- Inflammatoire darmziekte (IBD) — als adjuvans naast standaardtherapie
- Dysbiose (verhoogde Dysbiosis Index)
- Gevoelige spijsvertering, intermitterend zachte ontlasting
Werkingsprincipe
Combineert drie complementaire werkingsmechanismen in één formule:
- Microbiële herstabilisatie — drie probiotische stammen (één levend, twee als postbioticum/spore) modulen de gut-microbiota via competitieve uitsluiting, productie van antimicrobiële peptiden en bacteriocines, en stimulatie van de mucosale immuniteit.
- Substraat voor SCFA-vorming — FOS, psyllium en acacia gum worden gefermenteerd tot butyraat, propionaat en acetaat, die de colonocyten voeden en de mucosale barrière versterken.
- Mucosaal herstel — L-glutamine als energiebron voor enterocyten, zink-glycinaat als cofactor voor barrièreherstel, clinoptiloliet als adsorbens voor enterotoxines en NH₃.
Hypoallergene basis op insectenmeel (Hermetia illucens) — geschikt voor honden in eliminatiediëten (novel protein).

Klinische toepassing
- Acute episodes (post-antibiotica, stressdiarree, voederwissel): 7–14 dagen
- Chronische enteropathie / dysbiose-correctie: minimaal 4–6 weken, met klinische herevaluatie
- IBD/IRE: als adjuvans naast geïndividualiseerd dieet en immunosuppressie
VERWACHT EFFECTVerbetering fecal score (Bristol/Purina) binnen 5–10 dagen, normalisatie defecatiefrequentie binnen 2–4 weken, verlaging fecaal ammoniak en verbetering microbiële diversiteit na 4–8 weken.
CONTRA-INDICATIESGeen bewezen contra-indicaties. Algemene voorzorg met levende probiotica bij ernstig immunosuppressieve patiënten. Bij persisterende klachten >2 weken: heroverweeg differentiaaldiagnose (PLE, neoplasie, parasieten).

- Post-antibiotica: start dag 1 van antibiotica-kuur, continueer 4 weken na laatste dosis.
